British crooner Harry Styles has announced he’s launching a makeup line called Colourpop.
Styles, 23, is the highest paid celebrity model in the world and co-owner of his first venture with his partner, Liza Ghorbani. The collection of 25 products was launched in 50 Ulta Beauty stores in New York City and Los Angeles on Thursday. It also has a store on Eau Claire Avenue in Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood.
“Liza and I have a lot of fun being creative together, but being the parents of a little boy we want to create something that we can both use and enjoy,” Styles said, via notes released Wednesday by his representatives at PR Select Ltd. “There’s something for everyone in the collection. From base products for casual beauty moments to illuminating palettes for iconic makeup looks that appeal to women of all ages, there’s something for everyone to love.”
The line is still early in development and the two still have a lot of development ahead. A variety of face tints and buildable palettes are included, ranging from a $10 light wash face wash with palettes of five $10 each. Also included in the first line is a $14 lip shine with three $18 custom lip plumpers.
The model-turned-singer is the star of R.J. Cutler’s new Hulu show “The Graham Norton Show,” and debuted as a coach on “The Voice UK” alongside Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams last year.
Styles scored the top slot on Forbes’ list of the highest paid model in the world this year with estimated earnings of $40 million.
