A former colleague of Democrat Joe Biden said the Vice President recently spoke with President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani at Walter Reed Medical Center during a colonoscopy that Biden was performing in order to fix a biopsy he accidentally punctured.
“A series of people who were at Walter Reed and the White House (were) there,” said Jonathan Morris, a former Biden deputy chief of staff, NBC’s “The Today Show” reported. “Biden was telling a story of how he asked him (Giuliani) to help him when he actually punctured a biopsy he was trying to remove from his colon. He said Trump asked him if he could speak to Donald Trump but because it was surgery and he was under anesthesia, the follow-up was up to Michele (Biden) and her staff at Walter Reed.”
Biden underwent abdominal surgery earlier this week.
Last week, Biden released a statement saying he was well. He also posted a picture of himself at the hospital being treated for a gynecological issue.
